CANNES, France — Eighty-two women working in the film industry swarmed the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday to denounce the gender inequality in their field.
An article by Farah Nayeri, one of the most intelligent people I am honoured to know who is reporting from Cannes. I am very happy with the contributions of people in the arts in current affairs and there could be no better person the New York Times could have picked to cover this wonderful event and protest.
Read it on the New York Times.
In other news, Kostis Maraveyas is in London for two-shows only this week. I’ll be at Mimis on Friday dancing and singing.
