Some of you may know that I’m very interested in politics, history and current affairs. So here’s 3 fairly recent movies that I think do justice to the subjects and open up very important issues to a wider audience that may not have been interested or not able to understand the issues at the time. Would love to be able to film something like that in the future. Not only do they do a very good job at telling these stories, often re-revealing horrible things, but there’s also space for the actors to have really personal scenes, which is great for the actor and tells us so much about these public figures they portray as human beings.
